What You Will Do:

JOB SUMMARY: This role works in collaboration with executive, operational leaders, and teams to assess, improve and monitor Team Member engagement and the overall team member/provider experience. Responsible for all aspects of the recognition program to include planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the program to ensure exceptional engagement. Plans and executes large organization events.     MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:   Education & Training: Bachelor’s Degree HR, Organizational Development, Education or related field required.   Work Orientation & Experience:  Must have previous demonstrated experience developing and implementing a reward and recognition initiatives.  Must have previous demonstrated experience with process improvement principles and processes, and gathering and analyzing data to strategize and problem solve. Previous experience with planning and executing large events (i.e. hospital week, banquets) demonstrating creativity and budget management is required. Must have demonstrated experience developing and presenting organizational messages and strategies with results in improved retention and engagement.   Skills & Abilities:  Must have knowledge of current strategies used to increase team member engagement. Have a passion for caring for people and thrives on connecting with others.  Ability to provide effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.  Establishes positive working relationships, coaching, teaching and evaluation.  Demonstrates ability and skill in independent decision-making, planning, management and leadership.  Must be self-motivated, have the ability to think creatively and use innovative skills to problem solve.  Demonstrates skill in organizing work, setting priorities and meeting deadlines with attention to detail and follow through.  Demonstrates computer literacy with word, excel, power point.

What You Need to Be Successful:

My name is Christina, and I'm a respiratory therapist at UM BWMC. At the height of COVID, I had actually joined the hospital as a clinical extern, and upon obtaining my license, I decided to join full-time. One of the reasons why I chose to join full-time was because, as a new grad, it was very important for me to have my voice heard and appreciated, which I definitely feel at this hospital. And in addition, it is a huge plus to have all the up-to-date technologies and equipment readily available for me to utilize. I love working here, and as a new grad, I couldn't have chose a better place to work.
