Summary

Responsible for performing routine EEG’s, extended EEG’s, Long Term Epilepsy Monitoring with telemetry and video, and Ambulatory EEG’s. Responsible for performing Neonatal/Pediatric ICU EEG’s and Brain Death studies. Technologist is also responsible for entering charges for completed procedures, as well as daily charge reconciliation. Technologist is responsible for assisting with departmental QA processes. Also, responsible for maintaining par levels of linens and supply stock.

Minimum Requirements

Education

HS Diploma
Must be enrolled in a Remote Learning program for Electrodiagnostics and/or prepared to challenge the EEG registry upon completion of ABRET/ASET requirements.

Experience

Must have three (3) years previous work experience in direct patient care position.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy.
Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.

License/Registration/Certifications

BCLS Certification
