  • SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)
    • Serves as a facilitator for survey readiness for Stroke Center of Excellence Certification. Accountable for the accuracy, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of data for Stroke quality measure sets assigned. Utilizes data to assist with quality and continuous improvement efforts for Baptist Health. Interprets results of clinical data, focusing on efficiencies; ensures support from parties involved and facilitates implementation of solutions for clinical outcomes, effectiveness, coordination of care, and patient satisfaction; recommends further analysis if appropriate; draws fast-based conclusions and recommends opportunities for quality improvement, cost savings and operational issues. Integrates analyzed data and outcomes into opportunities for improvement. Collaborates with key individuals and lead teams in appropriate interventions for sustainable change.

      Under the guidance and supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), ensures integrity and quality of stroke research is maintained and conducted in accordance with federal/state and local regulations, Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals and Baptist Health Policies and procedures. Primarily responsible for the accurate completion of visit procedures, and collection of information from study patients according to protocols, and for protecting the health, safety and welfare of research participants.

  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience
    • RN license or Bachelor Degree in Business/Health Care related field with a minimum of two years of appropriate health care related experience; or four years commensurate experience; or LPN license with two years clinical experience preferred. Experience with personal computers and office software a must.
