JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Certificate (or above) from a Translation/Interpretation Program is Required.
CCHI or NBCMI Medical Interpreting Certification is Preferred.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, verbal and written.
Expansive knowledge of medical terminology in both languages.
Ability to interpret in the consecutive and simultaneous modes, and translate documents.
Successful applicants will be accountable, professional, courteous, and team-centered.
Must comply with California Standards for Health Care Interpreters, HIPPA, Joint Commission, Infection Control, and all Organizational Policies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
