Overview

The Senior Provider Recruiter is responsible for the complete and timely recruitment and onboarding process for physician hires in MNPG. Secures and manages locum tenens coverage as needed. Collaborate in ongoing recruitment strategy and tactics. Keep all stakeholders informed and engaged during search efforts.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

Education:

 

1) Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, business, human resources, or related field. May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education.

 

Experience:

 

1) Five years previous provider recruitment experience required.
2) Previous experience with creative provider sourcing strategies required.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

 

1) Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
2) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3) Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team to achieve recruitment goals for Mount Nittany Health.
4) Must be poised and exhibit professional appearance.
5) Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, detail oriented, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
6) Must demonstrate good judgment and excellent problem solving skills.
7) Schedule will include evening and weekend hours for making prospect calls and touring candidates. Some overnight travel also required for trade shows, conferences.
8) Conducts business in a professional and cordial manner that upholds the integrity and reputation of Mount Nittany Health System.
9) Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations as they relate to recruitment functions.

 

License/Certification/Registration:

 

1) Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

 

Receives minimal supervision from the Director, Talent Acquisition and Compensation in partnership with the Associate Chief Operating Officer and Cheif Medical Officer(s).
