Job Description
HighPoint - Sumner Regional Medical Center
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Surgery
Reports to: Senior Director Surgical Services
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing - Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.
Required Skills
Certifications:
BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center required upon hire.
ACLS & PALS certifications from approved American Heart Association training center required within 12 months of employment, if not current upon hire
Required Skills
Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure – Required
Minimum Work Experience
1 year experience in Medical/Surgical or Surgery Nursing - Preferred
