  • SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)
    • RN IV Specialist is accountable for direct and indirect patient care through the use of the Nursing Process. Serves as a role model in IV therapy modalities, vascular access, organization and continuous improvements. Additionally, the IV Specialist assumes responsibilities designed to improve quality of self care of specific patient population through edication of patient, family and hospital staff. Must be self directed and have excellent communication skills.
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience
    • A registered nurse in good standing in the state of Arkansas. Healthcare CPR required, ACLS is strongly encouraged - training provided. One year registered nurse experience required - preferrably in the ED or Critical Care. BSN preferred.
