Job Description
Frye Regional Medical Center
- Assess & Reassess Patients According To Hospital Policy.
- Assess Growth & Development & Ability to Properly Address Patients of All Ages & Handicap.
- Formulate Develop a Plan of Care That Prescribes nursing Actions to Achieve Patient Goals.
- Recognition Interpretation & Intervention.
- Knowledge & Use of Medications.
- Administer & Document IV Therapy & IV Medications
- Manage Emergency Situations.
- Participate in Patient Teaching.
- Evaluate Patient Response.
- Perform Nursing Actions That Demonstrate Professionalism & Leadership.
- Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices
Job Requirements
Minimum Education1. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in the State of North Carolina.2. Certificate of completion of a basic EKG class and arrhythmia interpretation.3. Basic Life Support, CPR certification and ACLS required.
Minimum Work Experience2 years critical care or emergency medicine preferred.
