Psychologist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Independent Contractor Psychologist to join our team at Atascadero State Hospital located in Atascadero, on California's Central Coast.

Responsibilities

The Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients.

Qualifications

• Ph.D, or Psy.D in Psychology from an accredited institution with specialization in clinical or child clinical psychology required
• Active clinical psychologist license in California
• Internship completed with either the American Psychological Association (APA) or Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Center (APPIC) required
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain security clearance
• Two years' experience providing comprehensive psychological services required

Available Shift

Work three or four 10-hour weekday shifts with no nights, weekends or holidays.
