Summary

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and the Medical Group of the Carolinas – Division of
Psychiatry are searching for a BC/BE adult psychiatrist and a BC/BE geriatric psychiatrist to
join our interdisciplinary team of providers in serving the behavioral health needs of the
Spartanburg community.

We are seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist interested in:

• Inpatient/Outpatient Adult or Inpatient/Outpatient Geriatrics
• Current staffing: four psychiatrists, six PMH-certified
  nurse practitioners, one clinical psychologist and
  licensed social workers
• 38-bed inpatient unit
• Inpatient weekend call coverage with NP support
  • Call 1:6 once fully staffed
    •EPIC EMR system
    • Exceptional compensation package including:
    - Generous CME allowance

    - Paid malpractice insurance (including tail coverage)

All of our employed physicians benefit from paid interview and relocation expenses.  They also receive $6,000 annually for continuing medical education, 30 days of time off per year, competitively priced medical benefits, and several attractive retirement options.
