<span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">We are potentially hiring for a qualified Physician Palliative Care to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families a Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX

<p "margin-left:="" 40px"=""><span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">• Status: Independent Contractor  <p "margin-left:="" 40px"=""><span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">• Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30AM-5:00PM
<span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">The Physician Palliative Care must have the following qualifications:

<p "margin-left:="" .5in"=""><span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">• Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) at the time the degree was obtained.

• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

• The physician must be board-certified in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics or Family Medicine as a base specialty. Other base specialties will be considered on a case-by-case basis through the American Board of Medical Specialties or, in special situations, through the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists, and have sufficient experience in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine to allow independent practice. The physician must also be board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine through the American Board of Medical Specialties or, in special situations, through the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.

• Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience providing direct patient care.<span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United States, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.
