<span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">We are potentially hiring for a qualified Ophthalmologist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
<p "margin-left:="" 40px"=""><span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">• Status: Independent Contractor <p "margin-left:="" 40px"=""><span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">• Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM
<span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">The Ophthalmologist must have the following qualifications:
<p "margin-left:="" .5in"=""><span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">• Medical Degree from an accredited School of Medicine and Completion of a formal accredited and valid Ophthalmology Residency Training Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Board Certification: Shall possess and maintain board eligibility by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice ophthalmology services as required by the government.
• Experience: Must have seen patients in the Ophthalmology specialty within
the last 2 years. <p "margin-left:="" .5in"=""><span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"=""> • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine. The Contractor shall perform all primary and annual licensure or certification document verifications.
<span ":="" 11px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United States, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.
