With guidance and direction from our staff R.N. and L.V.N., the Medical Assistant will: * Assist clinical staff at our primary care clinic in the delivery of health care to our clinic population. * Interview patients, take vital signs, room patients for providers, and record services in patients’ charts. * Assist with procedures and screening tests, such as tympanometry, audiometry, UA, and pregnancy tests. * Maintain stocks of clinical supplies. * Assist in autoclaving, and with volunteer orientation. * Provide pregnancy counseling and administer nebulizer treatments. * Translate Spanish/English for providers as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned within legal scope of practice.
