JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities
As the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, Education, Safety, & Laboratory Compliance, you will provide leadership and expertise to direct a department wide quality and compliance program for the Clinical and Pathology Laboratories of UCLA Health System. Primary duties include:
•Ensure compliance with all standards, regulations, and laws of the pertinent licensing, accrediting, credentialing, and regulatory agencies
•Ensure adherence for UCLA internal guidelines and policies related to human resources, safety, environment of care, and corporate compliance
•Maintain all licensure and accreditation for the hospital clinical, pathology, and outreach laboratories
•Manage the laboratory safety program for the Health System laboratories
•Manage the CLS training and continuing education programs
•Serve as the Laboratory Compliance Officer for the Department and chairs the Laboratory Compliance Committee meetings
