Position Summary: As a Field Engineer, you will help our team members by supporting their needs at the desktop. You will make on-site visits in order to ensure team members have the right tools that perform as intended.  Your role will be to perform and complete installations, cost effective repairs, preventative maintenance, diagnoses, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware issues user PC and peripherals. You will act as a liaison with customers by demonstrating the highest level of professionalism, commitment, communication, and follow-up.  You will escalate and communicates unresolved technical issues.  You will keep our team members updated regarding the status of their request, ETA of parts ordered and resolutions achieved.

This is what you will need for this job

A comfortable working knowledge of PC’s, Laptops, computer peripherals and printers.
Experience troubleshooting Windows 7 and Windows 10 issues

In addition, you will need to be:
Familiar with Microsoft Office
Familiar with Citrix is helpful but not required
Familiar with iPad and iPhone
Familiar with Active Directory
Basic network knowledge, LAN, IP addressing, cat 6 wiring
Knowledge of wireless technology, access points
You will have the ability to create and maintain operating system images using PXE
Able to perform installation, configuration, upgrade and changes that impact how users assess and operate various technology solutions.
You will research, implement and maintain hardware and software solutions to ensure that team members are equipped with hardware and software solutions that conform to the team leaders specified requirements.
You will serve as a troubleshooter on PC and printer related problems and requests.

You Must have:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two plus years of related experience supporting desktop and peripherals is required.

A+ Certification or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician Certification a plus

Language Skills:
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Additional languages fluency would be a real plus.

Desired Skills:
• Ability to create and maintain operating system images
• Technical support experience in a windows environment.
• In-depth knowledge of computer networking, both physical and logical.
• General knowledge of common Windows software and administrative duties in a Windows      enterprise environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills and

• Well-developed organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows 7/10 and MAC OSX
• Proficient in the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with iPhones, iPads, Android tablets, and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of software and operating system deployments utilizing automation, helpful
