<span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">URGENT: We are potentially hiring for a qualified civilian Dietitian to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Patrick Air Force Base in, Satellite Beach, Florida

  • <span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Status: Full-Time
  • <span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch

<span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">The Dietitian must have the following qualifications:

  • <span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Degree/Education: Successfully graduate from a baccalaureate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a didactic program for dietetics approved by the Commission on
  • <span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Dietetic Association (AND).
  • <span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Shall have and maintain an active, valid, unrestricted, current license if required. Must be successfully granted provider privileges by the performance location Credentialing Committee and commander and maintain privileges.
  • <span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Experience: Possesses no less than three (3) years of experience in the last 5 years in health promotion, obesity & weight management, and lifestyle counseling, including knowledge of the Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes studies and the National Diabetes Prevention Program. Must have experience coordinating and facilitating group health education classes and activities, organizing and implementing outreach events, and working with both youth and adult populations. Must have direct hands-on experience in the last 3 years with computer operations, basic word processing, data entry, and use/maintenance of automated electronic medical records is required. One year of specialized experience in diet therapy after graduation.
  • <span ":="" 12px"=""><span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"="">Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted dietetics license or certification as required in the TO.

 

<span ":="" verdana,="" geneva,="" sans-serif"=""><span ":="" 11px"="">Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship, and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United States, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.
