The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the functions, activities, and training of the nursing services staff. He/She plans, directs, and manages the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the nursing services and ensures a positive working relationship among the staff. The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, budgeting, directing nursing services. Coordinates and collaborates with finance, ancillary services, and other departments to achieve facility goals. The Chief Nursing Officer may also carry leadership responsibilities for other departments as determined by Executive Management.
Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited university program. A Masters degree in related health services is preferred. Active State License as a Registered Nurse; Minimum of five years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting; Health care management experience.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
