JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities
In this position you will be responsible for performing cashier functions in the cafeteria and coffee bar. You must be able to process customer’s transactions on a computerized cash register station, assuming that the register is in correct working order, transactions are recorded consistently, following beverage recipes, and coffee standards. Maintain and organize work station for cleanliness and orderliness, making sure that the condiment station and other assigned areas are appropriately filled and stocked. Responsible for all duties as assigned and as outlined in cashier work rules, and PCI, which include reconciliation of daily cash reports and securing deposits in a proper manner. Assist assigned areas including food service stations as required by operational needs.
Must maintain good public relations with external, and internal customers with the spirit of CICARE. Responsible for handling problems with customers in a diplomatic manner. Must read all memos and bulletins relevant to the operation. Must follow safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by the Department’s HACCP program and as prescribed by JCAHO.
