Summary:
Baptist Health seeks an attorney to join its legal department as Associate General Counsel. The Associate General Counsel will provide and coordinate legal services for the health system on a variety of legal issues and matters including: health care laws; physician-hospital agreements; mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; independent contractor agreements; general employment agreements and issues; purchase contracts; real estate; legal research; and compliance issues. This position reports to the Chief Legal Officer of the system and will collaborate with peers to support Baptist Health’s healing ministry.

Other information:
Applicants must have a law degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas. Applicants must have at least five (5) years of experience in the practice of law and legal experience in health and transaction law. A strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and writing skills, experience drafting and negotiating agreements, the ability to manage numerous complex legal projects, and a commitment to the Baptist Health mission are essential.

Compensation to be determined commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
