What You Will Do:

Interacts in a customer-focused and compassionate manner to ensure patients’ and their representatives’ needs are met. Responsible for the registration of all patients accessing services at Shore Health System and Chester River Health System with emphasis on patient access satisfaction, insurance/demographic verification accuracy, and pre-point of service collections, while continuously maintaining confidentiality, professionalism and ethics.

What You Need to Be Successful:

High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years experience preferable in a health care setting. Computer, medical terminology, and coding experience beneficial. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication.

Hi, everybody. It's Jess Fluharty, the director of Emergency Services here for Shore Regional Health. And what brings me joy in my role is the fact that I get to help the people that are helping the people. It's really important that you include the team members who are working with the patients in the decisions, and that they have influence in how they care for the patients in their department. And that is one of the things that brings me the most joy in my department, is making sure that the people who care for the people are taken care of.
