Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
Operates and maintains x-ray and ultrasound equipment to produce radiographic images and sonograms of various portions of the body to assist interventional radiologist in diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury.

Essential Functions
Prepares sterile field and table as appropriate for each procedure, and assisting physician when needed. Obtains all supplies relevant to each procedure and correctly bills for same. Operates interventional imaging equipment. Produces high quality images while ensuring these images are properly transferred to Isite. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved ARRT program

Certificates/Licenses/Registration State

  • ARRT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience Requirements:

  • Special procedures experience preferred
  • 2-5 years of IR experience required.
