Responsible for supporting users, and the design and implementation of changes to the laboratory information system (LIS).



  • Design and implement changes to LIS according to change control policies and procedures
  • Provide general and on-call support to the LIS, its users and other supporting staff (IT teams, vendor)
  • Maintain good customer service with customers consistent with Jefferson Health core values that includes frequent communication and efficient project management



Minimum MLT or Associate’s Degree.


  • Three years’ experience in a laboratory information system environment
  • Experience in diagnosing and correcting computer software malfunctions/issues, and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

  • Three years’ experience in the clinical laboratory/ microbiology experience preferred; blood bank experience highly preferred
