Specialist-Pulmonary - Pulmonary Diagnostics - Full-Time, Day - St. John Medical Center - Tulsa, OK

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

What You Will Do

As an Associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement and consult on specialized treatment plans for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develops care plans. Coordinate discharge planning needs with patient, family, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide treatment and diagnostic testing to patients according to physician orders.
  • Organizs and presents educational programs on an inpatient/outpatient basis.
  • Evaluate and calibrate all equipment. Performs and documents maintenance checks.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • One or more of the following:
      • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision .
      • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) .
  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Advanced Life Support.
    • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
    • COPD Educator

Education:

  • Diploma
    • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required

Work Experience:

  • None required.
  • 3 years experience preferred
