Job Description

Havasu Regional Medical Center

Responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, other area hospitals (where appropriate), EMS and other potential referral sources within the hospitals' primary, secondary and tertiary service areas. This position primarily focuses on developing facility referral relationships with the providers in the service area with the goal of maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsible for creating and maintaining a target list of referral sources, creating and implementing an annual growth and outreach business plan and providing input in the development and implementation of marketing plans for all service lines. You will report on the activity level and outcome of activities on a regular basis, focusing on increases in volume and/or addressing issues. The expectation is that this position will physically spend a majority of their work week in facilities and provider offices within their referral area.
In addition, liaison may engage in outreach to area businesses and industries at the discretion of the CEO.
Focus will be to continuously strive to make improvements that result in better patient experiences in our facilities for both patients and providers.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelors Degree in Hospital Administration, Marketing, Sciences or related field required.

Required Skills

Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Effective human relations skills are required for interfacing with team members, all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families and other contacts. Must possess the ability to effectively function in a stressful environment. Must possess the ability to use the following equipment; Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Telephone/Overhead Paging System/Fax Machine/Calculator/Computer. As pertinent to the position, must be able to use computer, telephone, calculator and adapt to new technology as it becomes available and necessary for the job. Must have a positive attitude, even temperament in stress/conflict situations. Must demonstrate effective leadership, communication and training skills.

Licenses and Certifications

Driver’s License and Proof of updated insurance

Minimum Work Experience3 + years of Pharmaceutical/Medical/Healthcare Sales Experience Required.Working Knowledge of Healthcare Industry.
