FTE 0.5 (20 hours) Day. 8:00am - 4:30pm.  3 days one week, 2 days the second week. Mon-Fri.

Under the direction of the Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Manager and the Palliative Care Medical Director, functions as an independent practitioner and as such is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients referred to the Palliative Care/Consult Service.  The practitioner is accountable for his/her practice, which is based on the nursing process and integrating medical principles.  The nurse practitioner provides services to patients of all ages.



3+ years nursing experience, one year Hospice/Palliative Care preferred.  Experience in education is preferred but not required.

Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.  Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.

Current licensure as a registered nurse and certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of PennsylvaniaValid driver’s license.

Comprehensive knowledge of the professional nursing theory and practice of Hospice and Palliative Care.  Valid auto insurance.
