Job Details

  • Performs patient care both in the outpatient and inpatient settings under the supervision of a surgeon.   Duties include surgical assisting, rounding on inpatients, performing follow up and pre-operative visits in the clinic, and similar duties as well as participation in all quality and process improvement initiatives. Position will work weekends on a rotating basis.

Requirements: PA must be Licensed, Registered or certified in the state of Maine. PA must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program; NCCPA certified. PA must complete 100 hours of CME every two (2) years and take the recertification exam every six (6) years. Current BCLS certification. ACLS Certification. Must be supervised by a physician.

 

Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Surgical Technical skills
