The Manager of Strategies, Analytics, and Quality Initiatives, reports to the System Director of Care Coordination and Clinical Social Worker and is responsible for internal project management, supervision of analytical staff and assists the director with quality initiatives for the department. Under the direction of the system director, conducts departmental analysis of current operational efficiencies. Makes recommendation through the identification of emerging trends, growth opportunities, and internal process improvement to improve quality outcomes. The manger ensures that internal projects are in alignment with departmental goals. The Manager assumes complete oversight of the daily operation of her/his assigned service line and represents the department and UCLA Health System to internal and external customers. The Manager assists the Director with oversight of the unit including reports, audits, queue management, analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality. Conduct full life-cycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and report capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Organize own work, set priorities and meet critical deadlines; handle difficult situations appropriately using sound, independent judgment within established policy and procedural guidelines.

Direct reports include Sr Admin Analyst and Admin Specialist. Produce and track various reports and audits (productivity, quality) as requested.Compose and/or edit narrative reports, documentation, and correspondence. Prioritize workload to meet established time frames for reports, data entry, correspondence and all assigned tasks. Demonstrate principles of customer service and interface with the public in a professional manner both in person and on the phone. Develop, implement, and administer policies and procedures under guidance of the System Director. Coordinate all aspects of special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
