Installs, inspects, operates, repairs HVAC and refrigeration equipment for food storage, ice making, cooling water and air conditioning/ heating systems for hospital buildings. Other duties as may be required to maintain the safe operation of the hospital.
Possesses working knowledge of other trades to ensure coordination of work projects.Estimates and orders materials needed for work projects.Reads thermometers and gages and records readings.Adjusts valves on pipelines to regulate flow of refrigerant to maintain desired degree of compression.Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
