Abington Hospital -Jefferson Health, based in Abington Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting for full-time Hospitalists. These positions will be 12 hour shifts, 7a-7p, Monday - Sunday schedule. Teaching and non- teaching opportunities are available.
The Hospitalist provides direct in-patient care to patients (ranging from adolescent to late adulthood) in hospital setting. Accept patient referrals and coordinate all aspects of care for hospitalized medical patients. Participate in patient rounding, triage and disposition to expedite patient flow throughout the hospital and assist with patient placement. Provide admission support and management of unassigned medical patients.

- Medical Degree, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or foreign equivalent
- Completion of 36 months of medical residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Passage of USMLE 1, 2, and 3 or COMLEX 1, 2, and 3
- Must have or be eligible for PA Medical License
Must have interpersonal skills to deal harmoniously with staff, patients, and family members.
