Overview

The Clinical Coordinator role is a Registered Nurse responsible for the overall daily operations of Surgical Services Pre-Op Centralized Call Center for the Greater Charlotte Market. They are responsible to meet all clinical standards of care and regulatory requirements. Supervises, directs, educates, and disciplines all licensed and non licensed staff of the department. They are responsible for maintaining a positive work environment as well as guiding the department to providing a remarkable patient experience, every time in every dimension. The Clinical Coordinator functions as a role model, facilitator, and problem solver for all staff. They assist the Nurse Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager with continuous quality improvement, performance appraisals, resource utilizations, training of staff, and budget management.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred  Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; B.S. in Nursing or related field preferred

Experience: Minimum of two years experience as a clinical nurse in acute care environment Required Previous leadership experience Preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure as an RN Required

Additional Skills Required: Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s)’ age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
