Under the supervision of the Pharmacist, it is the responsibility of the Certified Pharmacy Technician to perform medication history assessments for new admissions to the hospital. Assistance of pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care to both in-patients and out-patients. Computer entry and processing of patient drug orders; sterile and non-sterile preparations of liquids and solid dosage forms; care and ordering of supplies and equipment; training of trainees; processing of admittance, discharge and transfer of patient drugs; restocking of pyxis machines; nursing unit inspections; performing miscellaneous related tasks, all under the supervision of a pharmacist.

- Current P.T.C.B. Certification
- Typing skills required
- Experience in a Pharmacy environment
