Why This Role is Important to Us

 

The BI Data Integrity Analyst, under the direction of the supervisor, will manage specific assigned responsibilities as it relates to loading data, verifying data loads, building financial reports, completing assigned report/data requests in a timely manner, ensuring data tables and maintenance for security is up to date and month end close processes. The position is responsible for supporting and assuring accurate data into the BI systems, verifying all systems are in agreement, assisting in the preparation of the monthly financial reports, completing security requests for access to the systems and building adhoc reports as requested. Along with the supervisor, this position assists in the ongoing efforts to automate and look for efficiencies for data loading and reporting. Completing data integrity audits as well as security audits.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Uses analytic and subjective assessment skills to identify substantial performance improvement opportunities.
  • Apply your professional financial, statistical and programmatic knowledge and analytical skills to a wide variety of analytic/financial initiatives.
  • Prepare data for use by other departments for fiscal impact forecasts, budgets, utilization and/or actual fiscal outcomes.
  • Work both individually and as part of multi-discipline teams on projects varying in size and scope from short-term ad-hoc requests to long-term strategic initiatives while collaborating with other Departments within the organization.
  • Collect and load data into data warehouse; ensuring integrity is not lost in transition of loads.
  • Works with Financial Planning and Decision Support to provide data necessary to meet the system's needs.
  • Develops reports and works closely with Financial Planning and Decision Support in the timely completion and distribution of reports.
  • Provides general financial and analytical support to Director of Business Intelligence, as needed
  • Complete timely audits to make sure security to systems align to completed security requests
  • Review data tables daily and ensure integrity to systems

What We're Looking For

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors in Finance or Business Administration with a healthcare focus or similar education
  • A minimum of 0-2 years of healthcare responsibility
  • Must have high integrity, honesty, objectivity, and exceptional relationship skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with people at all levels
  • Displays outstanding oral communication and stage/presentation skills when dealing with all levels of the organization are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions based upon an analysis of information and data, the capacity for constant learning and critical thinking, and a proven ability to effect positive changes in the healthcare environment

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

 

  • Relevant operational experience and procedural knowledge required.
  • Must have mastered advanced concepts.
  • Experience with CMH Software, data and business information preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills required.
  • Ability to interpret data and formulate conclusions.
  • Creative and "outside the box" problem solving skills required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft software knowledge and ability to train/assist end-users required.
  • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully, develops alternative solutions, works well in group problem-solving situations, and uses reason when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in a variety of situations required.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schematic form required.
