Summary:
Collects and organizes data using information technologies to support clinical/operational processes and departmental/organizational initiatives.  Works closely with clinical team on improvement projects.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

  • Designs data queries based on customer inquiries/needs.
  • Extracts, validates, and analyzes desired data. Defines the scope and format of reports and prepares same.
  • Collaborates on the design, implementation and evaluation of data analysis processes, including determining the metrics and methodologies to be used.
  • Presents analysis in requested formats to internal/external audiences as required.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
  • Creates and maintains data for ongoing and ad hoc reports and dashboards that provide outcomes and trends on key performance indicators, along with identifying areas of opportunity and action.
  • Build data focused solutions and visualizations combining data from internal and external systems.
  • Support clinical analytics needs, leads data initiatives around clinical programs, and provides subject matter expertise to clinical teams.
  • Support designing and implementation of system-wide analytic solutions.
  • Develop and update data sources, data models, dashboards, scorecards, and reports using SQL Server, SSIS, SSMS, PowerBI, and other reporting tools which integrate multiple data sources.

  • Creates and maintains documentation and reference materials for multiple audiences on data team resources and solutions.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred.
  • Epic Clarity Data Model certification preferred (any module). Epic proficiency required within 3 months.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Preferred working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and reporting/visualization tools. Prefer experience with T-SQL and the Microsoft data technology stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI/Power Query).
  • Preferred working knowledge of data warehouse and data science concepts including ETL and data engineering.
  • Preferred experience working with clinical teams on improvement projects.
