Job Summary: The Urodynamics RN renders care to male, female and pediatric patients with voiding dysfunction and urinary incontinence. Duties include: Complex video urodynamic procedures with a Laborie system using T-Doc air charged catheters; Fluoroscopy; Uroflowmetry; Electromyography; Post void residual measurement; Voiding Pressure Study; Cystometry test, and leak point measurement. Maintain and monitor sterile equipment. Maintain data acquisition, charting of results, and storage of urodynamic studies. Provides conscious sedation when needed.
Education/Experience: Graduation from registered nurse program. BCLS/ACLS/PEARS certification required.
Reports: Clinic/Nurse Manager and Providers
Licensure, Certification and /or registration: NCBON licensure; Urology Nurse.
Required Urology certification and Fluoroscopy credentialing after 2 years of employment.

Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse focuses on patient safety and the quality of nursing care by applying appropriate nursing interventions, such as identifying and clarifying patient needs, performing procedures, conducting health education, promoting patient advocacy, coordinating nursing and other health services, assisting the patient to navigate the health care system, and evaluating patient outcomes.
Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse is knowledgeable about and provides leadership in the clinical setting and provides operational accountability for and coordination of nursing services, including the appropriate skill mix and delegation of roles and responsibilities for licensed and unlicensed nursing personnel.
Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse designs, administers, and evaluates nursing services within the organization in accord with relevant federal requirements, state laws and nurse practice acts, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse participates in regular team meetings and continuous quality improvement activities.
Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse maintains knowledge of care teams for coordination of patient care, self-management, population management and communication skill
