Under the direction of the Professor and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Co Director of the UCLA Cardiovascular Center, you will provide independent management and oversight of the Cardiac Surgery Division operative schedule.

In this role, you will manage the schedule in conjunction with the Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology and will schedule all of the divisional faculty surgeries, insures correct pre-operative testing has been completed for all patients. You will also facilitate an ever-changing operative schedule for divisional cardiac surgeons. Interfaces with each faculty’s clinical assistant to oversee Care Connect cardiac surgery.

As our Administrative Specialist, you will provide administrative support to Chief regarding specialized projects related to the Cardiothoracic Surgery practice and will work with Divisional Database Manager on selected outcomes research projects.
